i was wondering how exactly spark determine who can and who can not have their RBI in the areas they have upgraded their towers to 700mhz LTE.6 months ago our local tower was upgraded and because i have a nokia 640 LTE phone i saw this had happened.i informed my friends who were all on spark mobile data plans. they can not get vodafone coverage where they are.the nearest ADSL is at least 20 klms away.one of my friends rung spark straight away and spark sent him out a modem. it works very well even though he is in a marginal coverage area.however my other friends left it too late , they waited till the address checker came out and now they are being told they are in marginal areas and service is not available.i rung spark with a list of addresses and was told which ones could and could not get the plans.my friends who had got the spark plan and modem earlier was now on the, could not get service, list.when i pointed out that he was with them on RBI 4G i was told i was mistaken and they must have a dongle.i said no, they had a B315 , then we had a big argument about that this was not possible because it would not work out there.then i said i had taken my LTE phone to a lot of the marginal addresses and i had got 2 or 3 4G bars on my phone.i was informed that spark RBI was on the 700 frequency and LTE was different and just because i got 4G signal on my phone did not mean their modems would work there.i have talked to a lot of spark people about this over the phone and they all sing the same song.i am lucky i can get vodafone, but my friends are stuck on very expensive mobile data plans.i do not understand sparks attitude
