As per another thread, I can only get (reliable) network coverage from Spark at work now, after the building nearby with a Vodafone antenna was stripped for demolition. I've been a Vodafone mobile customer for roughly 15years, but just yesterday came the catalyst for me finally going ahead with the switch.. someone was trying to contact me because our kids had been "attacked" (no major injuries) by the neighbours dog, but I had no reception . I have a few questions related to signing up and switching over:1. In years past, companies have had promotions and deals to attract people over from other providers. Is this something that still happens? Should I be calling and talking to someone directly rather than just purchasing online to see if I can attract an offer of some sort? When I last renewed my Vodafone contract, I had to call the retention team who offered me $300 cash vouchers to spend in store. Is there something like that for Spark?2. Because I'm currently looking at paying a penalty for ending a contract early, i'd like to avoid that next time, so am aiming for the $60 open term plan. On the website, it says that signing up to that plan and buying an S7 Edge on 24 months interest free will give you a monthly account credit to reduce the phone cost to "less than $50/month", but on getting all the way through the checkout process, there is no further mention of it, and the pricing is listed as $58.29/month..3. I'd like to keep my current number, but my contract with Vodafone doesn't end until June or July. Do I have to break the contract with Vodafone now, or can I sign up with Spark, and have a new number temporarily until the Vodafone contract ends, and then switch back to my original number but using the Spark sim? There were more questions, but I've forgotten them now.. but would appreciate info on the above. Thanks
